The Winona robotics team 3090 RamHawks attended the 7 Rivers Robotics Coalition week zero scrimmage Feb. 16-17 and brought home the “High Riser” award. Team 3090 was recognized for its unique design of the robot’s capability to reach all three levels of the rocket in the Deep Space competition.
Team 3090’s robot has a continuous three stage belt-driven lift, made out of six 1/8-inch aluminum tubes, and has one motor hooked up to a 20:1 gear ratio.
Team 3090 will be competing April 4-6 at the La Crosse Center and thanks all mentors and sponsors for making their competition possible.
