The Carl Hayden High School Falcon Robotics team began their season at the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition for Science and Technology) Robotics Northern Arizona Regionals in Flagstaff, March 13-16.  

The Falcon Robotics team was ranked 8th out of 55 teams after the  qualification rounds.

They were chosen by the 2nd-ranked alliance captain and that thee-school team lost in the quarter finals.

The Carl Hayden Falcon Robotics team won the “Excellence in Engineering” Award for their custom two-speed transmission.

Falcon Robotics also competed at the Las Vegas Regional from March 27 through 30.
