The District FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition was held at Kingsford High School Friday and Saturday, March 15-16. The Escanaba RoboMOs Robotics team received the Chairman’s Award. The Chairman’s Award is the most prestigious award in FIRST Robotics Competition. The award recognizes a team that reflects sustained excellence and impact within the FIRST community, in its own community, and beyond. They serve as role models and resources for other teams while educating the public in support of the FIRST mission. The RoboMOs will be moving on to the state level competition.
